Assessment Type 2: Collaborative Project
The Australian Languages — Revival Language collaborative project is assessed by the school and moderated at Stage 2. Teachers select moderation samples and submit materials online by mid-November (Round A).
Students work collaboratively to apply their knowledge and understanding of their chosen revived language in the planning and implementation of a project, activity or performance that raises public awareness about the language's cultural renewal and reconciliation.
The collaborative project should be made up of a combination or oral, written and multimodal forms in the chosen revived language, and should be a maximum of 6 minutes if oral, 1000 words if written, or the equivalent if multimodal.
