The South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) is a leading Australian senior secondary qualification, recognised for its innovative approach to curriculum and assessment, including as the first assessment authority in Australia to introduce electronic exams.
The SACE Board’s Strategic Plan 2020 – 2023 signals a new era of transformation for the qualification that puts students as ‘21st century thriving learners’ at the centre of its work, and creating a qualification that captures the knowledge, skills, capabilities and attributes of the whole student.
To do this, the SACE Board is offering an exciting new role that will support the organisation to drive innovation and shape education so that students thrive.
Call for expressions of interest for the SACE Board of South Australia
Position commences: when position is filled
Application closing date: 5 pm, Monday 3 May 2021
From 1 July 2021, all Board positions will become vacant.
The Minister for Education, Hon. John Gardner, MP, is calling for expressions of interest from individuals with the necessary abilities, knowledge and experience, to fill these vacancies, for a term not exceeding three years and commencing on 1 July 2021.
Applicants are invited to address the key criteria outlined in the position statement and provide a curriculum vitae with at least two referees.
