The South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) is a leading Australian senior secondary qualification, recognised for its innovative approach to curriculum and assessment, including as the first assessment authority in Australia to introduce electronic exams.
The SACE Board’s Strategic Plan 2020 – 2023 signals a new era of transformation for the qualification that puts students as ‘21st century thriving learners’ at the centre of its work, and creating a qualification that captures the knowledge, skills, capabilities and attributes of the whole student.

Call for expressions of interest for the SACE Board of South Australia
There is one vacant position on the Board.
The Minister for Education, Training and Skills, Hon. Blair Boyer, MP, is calling for expressions of interest from individuals with the necessary abilities, knowledge and experience, to fill this vacancy, for a term not exceeding three years and commencing in August 2022.
Applicants are invited to address the key criteria outlined in the position statement and provide a curriculum vitae with at least two referees. Application cover sheet, the position statement and an information booklet for prospective applicants are available below.
