Schools, students, teachers and school leaders are working together to develop and recognise SACE specific capabilities. There are many stakeholders involved to develop, recognise and certify young people’s capabilities, including:
- External raters – individuals in the community with expertise to verify the capabilities students develop outside of school, for example volunteering, employment, or caring for others
- SATAC – the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre works with universities to better match student capabilities profiles to university course admissions
- Tertiary education providers
- Industry groups including the Australian Business Community Network and South Australian Skills Commission helped identify capabilities that industries need and are exploring how learner profile visualisations can support student matching to employment pathways.
