SACE Assessment Responsibilities
Code of Practice
The SACE Board has developed a booklet which defines the respective responsibilities of the SACE Board and schools for managing school and external assessments of student learning in the SACE. The responsibilities defined in the Code of Practice are based on Board-approved policies and procedures for assessment. The Code of Practice is based on the recognition that the quality of student assessment in the SACE, and the integrity of students' results, is dependent on the partnership between the SACE Board and schools.
Grievance, Appeals and Investigation Protocols and Procedures
The SACE Board has developed complementary protocols and procedures for managing grievances, appeals and investigations related to assessment in the SACE.
