The Politics, Power and People investigation is assessed by the school.

• For a 10-credit subject, students undertake one investigation.
• For a 20-credit subject, students undertake at least one investigation.

Their investigation, analysis, and evaluation are based on any theme from the option themes section. 

An investigation should be a maximum of 1000 words if written or a maximum of 6 minutes if oral, or the equivalent in multimodal form.
