The Politics, Power and People sources analysis is assessed by the school.

• For a 10-credit subject, students undertake one sources analysis.
• For a 20-credit subject, students undertake two sources analyses.

Students analyse a maximum of five sources relating to a current political issue or debate that they can follow over a period of time. The sources analysis may be undertaken as an individual or a collaborative activity.

A source analysis assessment should be a maximum of 1000 words if written or a maximum of 6 minutes if oral, or the equivalent in multimodal form.
