The Australian Languages — First Language creating and responding assessment type is is assessed by the school.

For a 10-credit subject, students complete at least two creating and responding tasks comprising:

• at least one text creation
• at least one response to text(s)

For a 20-credit subject, students complete at least four creating and responding tasks comprising:

• at least one text creation
• at least one response to text(s)
