Legislative responsibilities

Under the SACE Board of South Australia Act 1983 the SACE Board is required to take into account the views of its key stakeholders, including a number of designated entities.

The SACE Board of South Australia Act also requires the Board to take steps to assist schools and education authorities to provide information and professional development opportunities to teachers so that they can assist students to successfully complete the SACE.

Furthermore, the Board is also required by the SACE Board of South Australia Act to provide any information that might be relevant to the Minister as she manages her portfolio responsibilities for education in this state.
