Subject renewal
The SACE Board has embarked on a program of Subject Renewal for all SACE subjects, as one of the key initiatives of Passport to Thrive – the SACE Board’s Strategic Plan for 2024-2027.
Subject Renewal Groups (SRGs), each focusing on a specific subject area, have been formed to carry out a co-design process that will consider the key drivers [PPTX 1.2MB] to sharpen content and assessment, and intentionally develop capabilities. Subjects have been separated into two pathways and will progress at different paces, as outlined in our updated Subject Renewal roadmap.
Global | Subject renewal timeline - Full Renewal
This subject is undertaking Full Renewal which will progress through the Test, learn & adapt and Transfer & adapt phases across 2027-28. The following is a roadmap of when key artefacts are created. This timeline will remain flexible and responsive to the needs of specific subjects.
