The Indonesian (background speakers) investigation is assessed by the school.

Students undertake an investigation demonstrating research and personal reflection on a cultural or social aspect of, or issue related to, a prescribed theme or topic. The aspect or issue for research may be chosen by negotiation with, or at the direction of, the teacher. Students complete:

• a response to text(s)
• a reflective response
