Submissions are now open 

Each year we invite teachers of Stage 2 Design, Technology and Engineering (DTE) to submit examples of the amazing work their students create, to display in the annual Showcase of Student Work. 

The DTE Showcase of Student Work highlights student learning and achievement and provides examples of the breadth and quality of work possible within the subject. The showcase celebrates student achievement, supports teaching and learning, and inspires future students by demonstrating what can be created and achieved through DTE. 

If you have students who would like to see their work on the 2026 DTE Showcase of Student work, please follow the following steps: 

1. With your student, complete the Showcase permission form. 
   NOTE: we are unable to include work without the student’s consent. 
2. Complete either 

• (a) submission PowerPoint file of maximum 5 slides, including: 
  • the design brief statement 
  • images of design development  
  • images of the product/outcome 
  • Download the DTE Showcase Submission template [PPTX 41KB]

OR 

• (b) a submission video file  
  • demonstrating the product/outcome 
  • Max length: 90 seconds. File format: MP4. Max file size 100 MB 
    NOTE: Please ensure your video resolution is set to 1080p before exporting to keep the file under 100 MB 

NOTE: all uploaded files must be named using the student’s name and subject code 

3. Submit the form, including file uploads
