Electronic examination familiarisation activity

Students, teachers and parents are invited to use the example electronic examination to familiarise themselves with its features.

Some of the key features include text highlighting, annotation and zoom in/out.

You are encouraged to use and experience each of the features.

Usability testing with a sample of Year 11 English students has demonstrated the electronic examination features are easy to use and that students don’t require specialist training.

Teachers are encouraged to promote the Electronic Examination Familiarisation Activity to their students.

Notes:

  • Your responses recorded in the example electronic examination are not stored or submitted to the SACE Board
  • This example electronic examination is publicly available. The final examination will require students to securely log into the examination
  • For best results use Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari internet browsers
  • For best results the electronic examination should be accessed on devices that meet the minimum technical requirements [PDF 13KB]
  • The registration, submission, front cover instructions, and other information pages that will appear in the final examination have been removed from this example examination
