Changes to Community Studies in 2021
In 2021, there are a number of operational changes for Stage 2 Community Studies (A and B):
- school assessment materials will be submitted online for moderation.
- students’ final results will be reported as a grade level using the scale A+ to E-. The Outstanding Achievement (OA), A to E grades will no longer apply.
- teachers will mark the school assessment component using the A+ to E- scale.
- teachers will mark the external component out of 30.

Change to English Literary Studies e-exam in 2021
In 2020, the sample e-exam for English Literary Studies featured a short film.
There will be no video or multimedia content in the English Literary Studies e-exam in 2021.

Support sessions for new teachers
Teachers new to teaching Stage 1 and Stage 2 subjects are invited to take part in online subject-specific Zoom support sessions.
The one-hour sessions take place from Monday 22 February to 18 March 2021.
