| Additional information | As part of the SACE Board of South Australia’s video conferencing strategy there is now the option to utilise Microsoft Skype for Business technology for video conference sessions with the SACE Board. If your school would like to participate in video conferences with the SACE Board it is important that your school is “Skype for Business ready”. This will ensure a smooth video conference experience. Participants can use a web browser to connect. The SACE Board can provide instructions on how to connect to the video conference sessions. These instructions will be provided to you closer to the conference date, once you have registered for a video conference. It is recommended that you verify that your school can connect to Skype for Business video sessions as network devices or firewalls may need to be configured for Skype for Business to work. You will need to engage your own IT support staff and liaise with DECD service desk if necessary. The SACE Board is unable to provide technical support beyond facilitating tests with schools to verify that upcoming video sessions will function as expected. It should also be noted that Skype for Business is a separate product from Skype for Consumer (traditional home based Skype software) To arrange a test Skype for business video conference with the SACE Board please contact the meeting organiser. |
