Description

The Term 3, 2020 SACE management conference will be in the form of zoom meetings due to Covid 19 requirements. Register through workshops and meetings below.

The SACE Management Conferences are for school leaders with the delegated responsibility for the management of SACE assessment and quality assurance. This includes SACE coordinators, principals' delegates, and/or curriculum leaders.

To complement the conference, a PLATO Course titled ‘New SACE Coordinators Semester 2’ is available. It is specifically designed for any new SACE co-ordinators and school leaders to navigate through the resources, policies and processes required to manage the SACE end of year period.

The focus will be on the confirming phase of the quality assurance cycle and on providing information on shaping education so that students thrive.

Participants will:

  • discuss strategies to prepare and plan for the 2020 end of school year
    • Stage 1 moderation
    • Stage 2 moderation
    • VET
    • Electronic exams
    • Special provisions
  • have an opportunity to discuss the SACE Boards Strategic Plan 2020 - 2023 and its implication for schools.

PLEASE NOTE: Funding for TRTs is not available for SACE Management Conferences.
