Due to ongoing concerns about COVID, the Nutrition face-to-face implementation workshops on Friday 4 December at Open Access College have been cancelled. A video recording of the planned workshop and materials will be available on the SACE website early next year, and all Nutrition teachers will be notified.

We will endeavour to have a face to face workshop for teachers in early 2021.

The SACE Board has reviewed, renewed, and accredited the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Nutrition subject outline for teaching in 2021.

Implementation activities for Stage 1 and Stage 2 Nutrition are being delivered through a combination of an online implementation course using PLATO and a workshop.

Workshop includes:

• Science as a human endeavour component and student task example
• practical investigation tasks with design as the focus 
• developing higher order questions for skills and application tasks. 
• case study examples 
• e-exam tools to be used in 2021 Nutrition examination 
• time for teachers to discuss and prepare Learning and Assessment Plans for both Stage 1 and Stage 2.
