The SACE Board has reviewed, renewed, and accredited the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Economics subject outlines. A series of workshops are being offered in 2019 to support the teaching of Stage 1 Economics in 2020.

The implementation workshops will include:

• ​​​​​​​an overview of the new Stage 1 Economics subject outline for teaching in 2020
• ​​​​​​​the assessment requirements for Stage 1
• ​​​​​​​assessment task design
• ​​​​​​​pre-approved learning and assessment plans
• ​​​​​​​sample teaching programs and teaching resources.

Workshop materials: Teachers are asked to bring a copy of the Board-accredited, pre-edited Stage 1 Economics subject outline to the workshop (available on the Economics mini-site). Workshop materials will be made available on the Economics mini-site at the conclusion of the workshops.
