The SACE Board has reviewed, renewed, and accredited the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Design, Technology, and Engineering subject outlines. A series of workshops are being offered in 2019 to support the teaching of Stage 1 and Stage 2 Design, Technology, and Engineering in 2020.

The implementation workshops will include:
​​​​​​​• an overview of the new Design, Technology and Engineering subject outline for teaching in 2020
​​​​​​​• the assessment requirements for  Stage 1 and Stage 2
​​​​​​​• assessment task design
​​​​​​​• pre-approved learning and assessment plans
​​​​​​​• sample teaching programs.

Workshop materials: Teachers are asked to bring a copy of the Board-accredited, pre-edited Design, Technology and Engineering subject outline to the workshop (available on the Design and Technology subjects mini-site). Workshop materials will be made available on all the Design and Technology subjects mini-site at the conclusion of the workshops.

Please note: funding for TRTs and travel is not available for the implementation workshops.
