The SACE Board has reviewed, renewed, and accredited the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Health and Wellbeing subject outline for teaching in 2021.

Implementation activities for Stage 1 and Stage 2 Health and Wellbeing are being delivered through a combination of an online implementation course using PLATO and face-to-face workshops.

It is desirable that teachers have completed the online PLATO implementation course before attending the workshop. Please click the link to launch the PLATO course. The course discusses the new subject outline, pedagogical approaches and other strategies to support teachers in the implementation of the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Health and Wellbeing.

The face-to-face workshop includes:

• activities and reflection on pedagogy for teaching and assessing learning in Health and Wellbeing
• practical learning opportunities for designing programs, learning and assessment plans, and tasks.

Teachers will be able to access Wi-Fi on the day of the workshop so feel free to bring along your electronic device such as a laptop or an iPad to use in the workshop.

Note: This workshop is a repeat of the workshop that was offered in Term 4, 2020.
