Workshops and meetings

Bookings are essential to ensure that you can be accommodated in the venue and that workshop materials are available. Bookings close two working days prior to each workshop, and seven days prior to each video conference.

Description

The Scientific Studies Workshop is specifically designed to support Stage 1 and Stage 2 teachers using the new (2019) Scientific Studies subject outline.

The focus of the workshop will be on preparation and planning for 2019.

Participants will have opportunities to discuss possible teaching programs, refine their Learning and Assessment Plans and develop effective resources for teaching and assessment.

Participants are asked to bring:

  • A copy of the 2019 Scientific Studies subject outline
  • Proposed teaching program
  • Proposed Learning and Assessment Plan
  • Any possible tasks or other resources
PLEASE NOTE: Funding for TRTs and travel is not available for the Scientific Studies Workshop.

    Access to the ground level on-site car park is one way only from Greenhill Road. If the boom gate is down, please use the access code provided in your booking confirmation email, or press the intercom button to request access.
