The SACE Board has reviewed, renewed, and accredited the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Business Innovation subject outline. A series of workshops are being offered to support the teaching of the Stage 1 Business Innovation in 2019. Registrations for Stage 1 Business Innovation implementation workshops are open to teachers who intend to teach the new Business Innovation subject in semester 1, 2019. The workshops are delivered in two parts: Workshop A: ‘Design thinking, Business Model Canvas and lean Startup’. Workshop B: ‘Building your resource toolkit’. An opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in developing resources and sharing teaching strategies. Teachers should register in both workshop A and workshop B. Additional implementation workshops will be offered during 2019 to support teachers who are introducing Stage 1 Business Innovation in semester 2, 2019 or in 2020. Workshop materials: Teachers are asked to bring a copy of the Board-accredited, draft subject outline to the workshop. Workshop materials will be made available on the Business Innovation minisite at the conclusion of the workshops. Please note: funding for TRTs and travel is not available for the implementation workshops. Lunch will not be provided. |
