Students develop skills in aural perception and musical sensitivity, and preparing and presenting public performances. They develop an awareness of style, structure, and historical conventions in solo performance.
Students extend their technical and performance skills on their chosen instrument or their voice, and use this expertise as a eans of developing musical expression.
