Assessment for Educators

The Assessment for Educators course is designed to support a whole-school commitment to reflecting on, evaluating and improving existing assessment practices. The Assessment for Educators course caters to the holistic needs of all educators regardless of subject area or career stage.

A school may elect to complete the course over a period of one to two years, to meet the requirements of the school's strategic priorities. Alternatively, a school may elect to undertake individual modules to cater for identified needs.

Course structure
The Assessment for Educators course is comprised of five modules. Each module provides eight hours of professional learning; six hours of face-to-face professional learning presented by the IEA and two hours of supporting activities to consolidate learning.

Cost
In 2018 the fee for each module is $2,878 (ex. GST) per school which provides 8 hours of professional learning.

Schools can complete the entire Assessment for Educators course (five modules) for a total price of $11,513 (ex. GST).
