Subject description (Stage 1)
Drama (Stage 1)
In Drama, students develop their creativity, collaboration, critical thinking and communication skills. They refine their literacy, numeracy, ethical understanding and intercultural understanding, and develop self-belief and self-confidence.
Stay up-to-date with how we're supporting students, schools, and teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic, including our latest communications and resources as they become available.
Information for external assessment (AT4) in Stage 2 Drama
We have recorded a Zoom meeting with Stage 2 Drama teachers discussing external assessment (AT4).
Changes to Stage 2 Dance and Drama external assessment
As a consequence of COVID-19, the external assessment component for Stage 2 Dance and Drama cannot be marked onsite by SACE Board external assessors.
For details of the change, see our email.
Streamlined subject areas
This year we’re starting to roll out new, streamlined subject areas on the SACE website.
This means we're making subjects easier to navigate, while providing subject-specific information that’s relevant to each task you will perform as a teacher, at the time you need it.
Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the changes by watching the video.
These renewed subjects have already had their subject areas streamlined:
- Dance (Stage 1)
- Drama (Stage 1)
- Economic (Stage 1)
- Outdoor Education
- Design, Technology and Engineering
- Australian Languages
