Assessment Type 1: Creating and Responding

School assessment Weighting: 50%

The Australian Languages — Additional Language creating and responding assessment type is assessed by the school and moderated at Stage 2. Teachers select moderation samples and submit materials online by mid-November (Round A).

Students complete one creating and responding assessment type comprising:

  • two resource creation tasks
  • two responses to resources.

Together, the tasks that comprise Assessment Type 1: Creating and Responding should be the equivalent in multimodal form of a maximum of 12 minutes.
