COVID-19 update 7-day stay-at-home lockdown
As you will have seen, the Premier has today announced a seven-day stay-at-home lockdown across South Australia.
While these are challenging times for all of us, our shared commitment remains the same - to continue the learning.
We have been here last year and by working together again now, I am confident we can collectively deliver on our promise to the Class of 2021.
I know that all schools will be initiating their e-learning programs and the SACE Board will be here to support you where needed.
Schools and teachers should feel empowered to use the flexibility of the SACE to deliver students’ learning and assessment through our strong partnership with you and our high-trust of teachers’ professional judgement.
At this stage, there are no changes to subject requirements. Of course, if the lockdown continues for longer than expected, then we will re-look at the subject requirements.
The SACE Board building will go into lockdown for the next seven days from 6 pm tonight, and all SACE Board staff will be offsite during this time.
But rest assured it's business as usual and we will be here to support you during these times.
We are monitoring the situation closely and we will continue to provide updates and support as required.
If you require further support, please contact our askSACE team in the first instance on 8115 4712 between 8.30 am and 5 pm (Monday to Friday), or via email.
