Teachers and Schools

The SACE is designed to help students develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed – whether they are headed for further education and training, university, an apprenticeship or straight into the workforce.

Teachers play a major role in students’ lives, not only through teaching but providing support and guidance as they move through their senior secondary years.

The SACE website supports teachers in their work by providing:

  • information about subjects and assessment at Stage 1 and Stage 2
  • online forums for teachers to exchange ideas
  • information about professional development opportunities throughout the year
  • support materials and operational documents that can be downloaded from each subject page to help teachers plan and prepare for classes.
