There are a number of different ways to earn SACE credits. Most students earn them by doing subjects in school; however students can also gain SACE credits through the SACE recognition arrangements.

There are also recognition arrangements in place for interstate, overseas and adult students, who may be credited for prior learning.

Opportunities for recognition include:
