Consultation

Consultation

The SACE Board of South Australia consults on a regular basis with its key stakeholders and designated entities.

Formal consultation occurred in June 2009 on proposed arrangements for the Recognition of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in the SACE, and proposed moderation procedures for the SACE. The feedback from these formal consultations provided the basis for the SACE Board's subsequent developmental work in both areas.

To ensure that the SACE Board is regularly provided with advice from its key stakeholders, a number of formal consultative groups have been established. These include:

  • SACE Principals Partnership Strategy Group
  • SACE Board / AEU Collaborative Working Group

In addition, the Chief Executive of the SACE Board meets regularly with the Chief Executives of the Department of Education and Children's Services and the Department of Employment, Further Education, Science and Technology, as well as principals associations from the three school sectors.
